“Augusta to the Rescue”! What do a small city in Butler County Kansas, a Seahorse,1943 War Bonds, and the US Navy have in common? Come to the next presentation in our Summer Speaker Series to find out!! A bit about the Speaker: Rachelle Meineke, Director of the Lowell D. Holmes Museum of Anthropology, WSU She teaches the museum studies courses for the Anthropology Department and is the coordinator for the Museum Studies Certificate program. She was on the committee that created the Pizza Hut Museum, which opened in 2018, and continues to serve as curator of the Pizza Hut Museum. Meineke was a has numerous years in the museum field as director and curator of collections. She has also worked to develop educational programming in museums.
