Flowers and decorations may be placed on gravesites for Memorial Day Weekend beginning Friday, May 28 and may remain in place until Monday, June 7. After June 7, in order to continue maintenance of the cemeteries, crews will remove any remaining decorations that are not permanent. Permanent decorations are those placed in vases or urns that are installed upon a concrete foundation or memorial marker. Any decorations, artificial or natural, which are not permanent that inhibit the mowing and trimming around gravesites and markers will be removed, beginning Tuesday, June 8.
