The City of El Dorado has been named one of Kansas Safest Cities in 2014 by the Kansas Municipalities Insurance Trust (KMIT). The award is given to cities who claim no lost time due to injury in a calendar year. KMIT also awarded El Dorado the Gold Star Standard in workplace safety.
