Your child will develop social skills, creativity and self-confidence as they enjoy activities like gym games, swimming, arts and crafts, creative play, outdoor activities, stories and a snack -all while making new friends!
Mom’s Day Out is for any child who is potty trained to 10 years old.
What does my child need to bring?
A backpack or bag with:
* Sack lunch
* Swimsuit and a towel
If siblings will be attending together, we ask that they have separate bags for their belongings.
What should my child wear? Dress your child in comfortable and appropriate play clothes.
What activities are included? Your child will enjoy swimming, arts and crafts, stories, creative play, tumbling and gym time, outdoor activities, calendar time, and snack time—all while making new friends!
Note: Children 2 yrs of age allowed to swim subject to parent’s approval.
If you are uncomfortable having your child swim, please notify the instructor and our staff will accommodate.

Help us pack a backpack full of school supplies to support local children. Our goal is to provide 250 fully stocked backpacks to USD 490 students. Just imagine how confident and prepared these students will feel going back to school in the fall! Drop off locations are located at the El Dorado YMCA, Brewso Coffee House, H&Co., and City Hall!

Summer Camps 2019!
Ages 8-12 Advised
Each session is 100$/week or only $90 for Kansas Oil Museum Members. Each Camp is limited to 20 students. Call 321-9333 to register today.
Students registered & paid by July 5th receive a free Summer Camp 2019 T-Shirt.
Need based scholarships available. Please ask when calling to register.
In the morning drop off begins at 9:00 am and sessions begin at 9:30 am at the Kansas Oil Museum.
Lunch will not be provided & should be packed from home. In the afternoon, sessions end at 4:30 pm & pick up by 5:00 pm.
Programming varies between the 2 weeks so students can take both sessions. If all spots fill, more AM only sessions may be available.
Camp 2: Oil and Agriculture have been ways of life in Kansas for well over a hundred years. This camp will highlight the many careers available in STEAM industries today, and give campers the chance to meet industry professionals as they speak about their fields.

Back by popular demand! We will be holding a second Summer Arts FOCUS the last two full weeks of July.
Foster creativity and innovation in your Middle School student at the Coutts Museum of Art’s Summer Art FOCUS! This two week class will be held from 1:00pm -4:00pm, Mondays-Fridays, from July 15-26, 2019. This class is open to students who will be entering 6th-8th grade for the 2019-2020 school year.
Retired teacher and artist, John Simkins, will lead students in developing their creativity using various artistic mediums. Each day the students will begin class developing their observation and drawing skills through various studies. In the first week, students will cover clay sculpting, acrylic painting, and collage. In the second week, they will practice studio and portrait photography and printmaking, specifically lithography. On the last day a small exhibit and reception will be held to show their work.
