Services

The City of El Dorado Sanitation Department is the only authorized waste collector in El Dorado. We have a full staff of experienced individuals who take pride in their work and understand how important this function is to the citizens.

Residential

Residents within city limits enjoy curbside trash service via individual carts collected weekly. For new service information and additional trash services offered by the city, view New Services Information (PDF) or call 316-322-4468.

Trash Carts

Carts are to be at curb on collection day by 7 a.m. with arrow pointing to curb (may also be set out night before collection).  They must be returned to the house within 24 hours of collection. Lids must be closed and not tied shut.

Excess trash needs to be put in Orange Volume Bags, purchased from City Hall for $7.00 (10 to a roll), and set next to the cart. Black bags are no longer delivered but can be purchased at City Hall for $5.25 (25 to a roll). If you are on the special pick up list, you will receive 2 rolls of blue bags that are delivered January of each year.

If you have questions or concerns please call Public Works Department at 316-322-4468.
