North Main Park offers something for everyone, from a gazebo and picnic tables to relax, room to run and play and a pavilion for larger gatherings to a spray park and tennis courts to keep the kids, and adults, active.

From music to swimming, basketball to skating, Forest Park offers a wide variety of activities for the family. Forest Park is home to the city's bandshell, which holds performances by the municipal band most Thursday evenings during the summer, as well as the swimming pool and skate park.

Get fit and enjoy the great outdoors on the bike / walking path. Beautiful views are found all along this 5-mile stretch that borders the Walnut River, continues through the Prairie Trails Golf course, and connects our city to the El Dorado State Park and Lake.
Reserve a Pavilion
Park pavilions available to reserve are located at East Park, Forest Park, and North Main Park. Use our Park Reservation Agreement (PDF) to reserve, return to the Parks & Recreation window inside City Hall.
Tornado Memorial
Remembering our city's re-building spirit after the deadly 1958 tornado is highlighted through an aeolian harp atop a bending pedestal located in Graham Park.
