Assistant City Manager

Tabitha Sharp was promoted to Assistant City Manager in November 2023. Tabitha has worked for the City of El Dorado since 2009 when she took the position of Intern to the City Manager. She was promoted to City Clerk in April of 2010. In 2022, she was promoted to Administration Director for the City.

As Assistant City Manager, Tabitha now assists in the oversight, planning, organizing, directing, managing, reviewing, and coordinating of activities and projects for the City. She oversees and manages the financial operations and reporting of the City; participates in the development, implementation, and administration of administrative policies, procedures, guidelines, and programs; assists the City Manager in the administration of local government; and serves as acting City Manager as necessary. 

She oversees the Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, Tourism and Public Information departments.

Tabitha grew up in Butler County and graduated from Circle High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Washburn University and a Master’s from Texas Woman’s University. She is also a graduate of Leadership Butler and the Certified Public Manager Program.
