Weather Alert
Snow is expected to spread from west to east across the area during the morning, with snow developing around midday in Southeast Kansas. The bulk of the snow is expected to fall Saturday afternoon. Some slick roads are likely. Gusty north winds will cause blowing and drifting of the snow. Temperatures will slowly fall throughout the day on Saturday and Saturday night. This will result in wind chills dropping below zero in the west during the afternoon. Wind chills by Sunday morning will range from -10 to -20 across the entire area.
